Dhoni’s brother joins SP

Narendra Singh Dhoni, the elder brother of Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, joined the Samajwadi Party on Sunday.

Mr. Narendra Singh met SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav and expressed his willingness to join the party, spokesman Rajendra Chaudhary said in a statement here.

Mr. Yadav gave his nod for his induction.

Mr. Narendra Singh expressed faith in the policies and programmes of the Samajwadi Party and expressed his resolve to strengthen the party in Jharkhand, Mr. Chaudhary said.
