Suspected Maoists killed another Communist Party of India (Marxist) leader in Lalgarh of West Bengal's Paschim Medinipur district late on Wednesday.

A group of armed assailants abducted Tapan Das from his home at Dharampur and his bullet-riddled body was found at Baghjhnaapi on Thursday morning.

Though neither Maoist posters were found at the site nor did the rebels claimed responsibility of the killing, the police said Maoists are the primary suspects behind the murder.
