: A convict escaped from hospital after giving a slip to the guards in Agartala on Tuesday morning.
The police said Sunil Debbarma, the prisoner, was admitted to GBP Hospital from the Central Prison at Bishalgarh after he complained of illness.
An officer of New Capital Complex police station said the prisoner remained at large despite a day long search.
All police stations and outposts in the State have been put on alert to track him down.
This was second escape incident of a convict from GBP Hospital in the past one year.
