Cloudburst triggers flash floods in Kupwara

Flash floods triggered by a cloudburst has flooded the Kralpora area of frontier Kupwara district in North Kashmir, police said on Saturday.

The cloudburst which occurred last night flooded various areas of Kralpora, about 100 kms from here, they said, adding houses, shops, Kralpora hospital and a police post were flooded resulting in huge damage to property.

Kachhama, Meeliyal and Kachhama Wacher Khatoo were the worst hit areas. However there was no report of any casualty.
