: Delhi Tourism has planned exhibitions and city walks to celebrate World Heritage Day on April 18.

On April 17, a heritage walk will be flagged off by Delhi Tourism Minister Kapil Mishra at Jama Masjid, Gate No. 3, at 8.15 a.m. “The walk through the lanes of Shahjahanabad and Mehrauli will highlight the historically significant monuments spread across 200 acres— the only area in Delhi known for 1,000 years of continuous habitation,” said a Delhi Tourism spokesperson.

Cycle tours have also been planned at the Mehrauli Archaeological Park by INTACH on April 17, starting at 7.30 a.m. from Qutub Tiffin, close to Qutub Minar. A heritage walk for schoolchildren will be organised at the Mehrauli Archaeological Park on April 18 at 8 a.m.
