CBI wants polygraph test on Raja Bhaiya

Next hearing on June 11 after agency moves special court

The CBI has sought the court’s permission to conduct a lie-detector test on former Uttar Pradesh Minister Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya, an accused in the case of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Zia-ul-Haque’s murder. The investigating agency moved an application in the Special CBI court here on Thursday in this regard.

CBI judge Mirza Zeenat has fixed June 11 as the next date of hearing.

Zia ul-Haque, who was the Circle Officer of the Kunda police station, was killed on March 2 in Balipur village in U.P.’s Pratapgarh district.
