At least three persons were killed and 25 injured after a portion of a multi-storeyed building collapsed in south Mumbai, fire brigade officials said.
The incident occurred this morning when a portion of the three-storeyed ‘Jamnadas’ building in Bhendi Bazaar came down crashing, they said.
The building collapsed after a cylinder blast in a scrap shop located on its the ground floor, they said, adding rescue operations are on.
Six fire engines and four ambulances were rushed to the spot.
