Body of farmer found on Alwar rail track

The body of a 55-year-old farmer was found on a rail track in the district on Wednesday.

Police said prima facie, it appeared to be a case of suicide though it was also being probed whether he was accidentally run over by a train.

“The body of Harsh Sukhwal was found on Alwar-Mathura rail line and was shifted to a hospital for post-mortem,” police said.

Another suicide bid A farmer, who claimed to have suffered a huge loss due to crop failure, tried to commit suicide by setting himself ablaze in Ahmedabad on Wednesday.
