Blast at Patna: Four children injured

Four children were critically injured when crude bombs kept in a garbage exploded at Gandhi Maidan area in the state capital today triggering panic in the congested area, police said.

The children accidentally came near the bombs at the garbage site, adjacent to the historic rally ground in Bihar, when the explosion occurred, the sources said.

The injured children were admitted to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH).

Police later recovered eight more crude bombs, believed to have been kept by local miscreants, from the spot.
