The police on Sunday night conducted raids at different places in Jharkhand after it was found that many of the accused in the Patna serial blasts, which occurred earlier in the day, hail from the State. “Black powder has been recovered,” Senior Superintendent of Police Saket Kumar Singh said after a raid at Dhurva. Raids were being carried out in other places also, police sources said.

Additional Director-General (Law & Order) S.N. Pradhan said: “Many of the accused in the serial blasts are from Jharkhand. They might have carried explosives from Jharkhand or might have got them from there.”
