Union Human Resource Development Minister Kapil Sibal on Saturday accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of avoiding a debate on the CAG report on coal blocks allocations in Parliament because of its lack of faith in democracy. By not allowing the Parliament to function, the Opposition party lowered the nation’s dignity, he said.
Speaking to reporters after attending the first convocation of the Central University of Rajasthan at Bandar Sindri in Ajmer district, Mr. Sibal said the continuous disruption of proceedings in both Houses would not serve any purpose.
“We want a debate but [it is] they [who] are opposing it. Why are they not open to a discussion on the floor [of the House]?”
Addressing the convocation ceremony, Mr. Sibal said that while higher education in India would meet global standards in this very decade, the entry of foreign educational institutions would be allowed only after framing of guidelines on the basis of the recommendations of the University Grants Commission.

The current scams created by the ruling party has totally lowered the
nation's dignity and not B J P.The current rulers has to put the nation
above their petty politics and stop manipulations to cheat the people .
There would have been no talk of corruption today, had all our
leaders been like Sibal.Nation is thankful to him for his "Zero loss
theory" in corruption.Now he is propounding no accountability theory
and 5 year non stop looting democratic theory.Who says India is
lacking in talent? WE should rush for patent rights for these

I think that during this governance our country is more corrupted. the peoples of other countries are defeating oppositions or making attacks to make their country rich. our people are robbing our country and they are making our country to a lower position. this government must be more strict.

It is a open secret that public money is siphoned off in the name of
disinvestment of psu,auctioning of spectrum and coal blocks and what
not.Congress is abound with men like sibel and chidambaram who invent
the zero loss theory to sheild the culprits.
Respected kapil ji, you even though a minister representing all people
of this nation, are talking like a spokesperson for congress party.
Now tell the people of this nation, who has lowered the dignity of
this nation?
1.Prime minister L.B.shastri was murdered in moscow, though the matter
is declassified, you are keeping it secret. Whom your government is
protecting?
2. Thousands of sikhs are massacred in delhi and till today none is
brought to justice.
3.Our then chief of the army gen. singh says if there is a war indian
soldiers do not have enough weapons for more than 3 days to fight.
4. Billions of black money is stashed abroad. our poor people in
thousands are dying of hunger, disease every day.
5. The scams like commonwealth, 3G, coalgate are all done by present
leaders.
Please explain to the nation who is degrading the fame of this great
country?
Sibal has faith in Congress's democracy of scams.
Is it not Congress which bribed BJP MPs to win vote for Nuclear bill Vote for Cash scam ? It is shown in TV LIVE. 2G scam and CoalGate are more shameful Why blame BJP ?
The country's dignity has already been lowered by the mega corruption scams in which it's
present government is allegedly involved. There isn't much of it to be lowered by the
opposition parties. Mr.Sibal's tirades against the opposition are therefore of no consequence.
This man has no shame to say this. This is the very same person who said there was no loss loss in 2G without any SHAME! He and his party has taken this nation to a lowest level and he is accusing of BJP for the same reason!
What a talent of looting our country, Congress win gold medal in corruption.

Mr.Sibal, how about congress party? Are they holding up and enhancing the dignity of the nation? It is sad that a party that fought against foreign rule is now trying hard, very hard to foist a foreign dictats on India. Where is your sense of patriotism? Do congressmen have it still? Hope you guys wake up for the sake of the nation and not bury your head in the sand.

It is the mass scale looting by the Congress which is spoiling the
name of the nation. Even children are talking about it and want to
join politics to become very rich.BJP's action though looking
undemocratic is the only way that this corrupt government will be
thrown out before they do any further looting.
Is there any dignity left over for BJP to bring it down any further?
The Congress has done a thorough job.
I don't think the nation is dignified either by the number of scams her
(India's)government is involved.Mr.Sibal should realise that those
staying in glass houses should not throw stones at others,which applies
to other perpetrators also.
