Bihar boat capsize: four bodies recovered

Bodies of four out of eight persons, who went missing after an overcrowded boat capsized in Ganga River in Manihari area on Thursday, were recovered on Friday with the help of National Disaster Response Force personnel and local divers.

Manihari Circle Officer Chandra Kumar said four bodies have been recovered from the river with the help of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) personnel and local divers.

Eight persons had gone missing while 20 others swam to safety when an overcrowded boat capsized in the Ganga in Manihari area of the district. – PTI
