Badal suffers fall, hospitalised

Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal was today admitted to a hospital here after he slipped at his residence and suffered injuries.

82-year-old Badal suffered a cut near his eye for which he received three stitches, PGI hospital sources said.

He is being kept under observation, they said.

SGPC chief Avtar Singh Makkar said Badal received a minor injury.
