Army busts militant hideout in J&K

Army troops on Tuesday busted a hideout in high-altitude area in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir and recovered a cache of weapons and ammunition.

Acting on a tip-off, Army troops launched a search operation in Marwah belt of Kishtwar district and busted a hideout, a defence spokesman said in Jammu.

They recovered one AK-56 rifle, one .303 rifle, one 7.62 mm pistol, 94 rounds of AK-56 rifle, 6 rounds of pistol, 5 round of .303 rifle, 4 magazines of AK rifle, and 4 Chinese grenades, he said.
