Approval for road projects

The Centre on Wednesday approved the construction of two national highway road projects in Rajasthan and Maharashtra at an estimated cost of Rs.3104.33 crore.

The Cabinet Committee on Infrastructure approved four-laning of the 244.12-km Beawar-Pali-Pindwara section of NH 14 in Rajasthan at an estimated cost of Rs.2517.79 crore, as well as the four-laning of the 45.43-km Nagpur-Wainganga Bridge section of NH 6 in Maharashtra at an estimated cost of Rs.586.54 crore.

Both projects are expected to be constructed within 30 months.
