Amitabh to inaugurate Kolkata film fete on Nov. 10

Actor Amitabh Bachchan will inaugurate the 18 Kolkata International Film Festival here on November 10. Around 200 films from about 50 countries will be screened at the festival where special homage will be paid to veteran actors Rajesh Khanna and Dev Anand.

This was stated by Secretary, Information and Cultural Affairs department, Nandini Chakravorty, during the release of a short promotional film showcasing West Bengal’s progress here on Saturday.

Actor and the State’s brand ambassador Shah Rukh Khan plays the lead in the film.

Bengal Leads , a promotional film of two-minute duration that provides a glimpse of the State’s natural beauty and industrial potential will hit the TV screens by October 2012.
