Amit Shah's bail plea admitted

The Gujarat High Court on Tuesday issued notices to the State government and the Central Bureau of Investigation on the bail petition filed by the former minister of State for Home, Amit Shah.

Justice R.H. Shukla admitted Mr. Shah's petition seeking bail and quashing the special CBI court's order rejecting his bail plea and posted it for hearing on October 22. Mr. Shah, the prime accused in the Sohrabuddin–Kausarbi murder case, had filed the bail petition in the High Court on Monday.
