A young woman escaped an acid attack by a 50-year-old man who pressurised her to marry , police said here on Wednesday. Vishnu Narain Shivpuri threw acid on the 24-year-old victim, a native of Dehradun on Wednesday in Mahanagar area after she refused his marriage proposal. The victim did not sustain any injury in the incident.
