The Aam Aadmi Party will contest both Lok Sabha seats in Manipur. Party convener Hareswar Goswami said here on Sunday that ticket aspirants could submit their biodata online.

The party had reportedly offered ticket to Irom Sharmila, who has been on a fast since November 4, 2000, demanding repeal of the Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act, 1958. She, however, declined the offer.

Mr. Goswami said AAP would soon launch a door-to-door campaign.

In the BJP camp, State president Chaoba Thounaojam expressed confidence that his party would wrest power at the Centre. After that, the Congress government in Manipur would fall, he told a political conference at Kakching town in Thoubal district on Saturday.
