40 pilgrims killed in a road mishap in UP

At least 40 pilgrims were killed on Monday when a tractor trolley carrying them overturned in a waterlogged ditch in Nagra area of the district.

The incident occurred this morning when the tractor trolley carrying around 60 pilgrims overturned in the ditch near Gauapar village, police said.

The pilgrims were on their way to Sati Mata Temple in the district.

The injured have been admitted to a hospital.
