Three more members of the Hindu Rashtra Sena were arrested by the police on Monday in connection with the murder of a 28-year-old techie last week. The men, along with 17 others who have already been arrested, allegedly stoned Mohsin Shaikh to death last Monday.

The three have been remanded in police custody till June 12. A local court extended the police custody of the 17 people earlier arrested in the case. HRS chief Dhananjay Desai, who has been arrested in another case, was sent to magisterial custody.

Police said custody of the accused was needed to ascertain whether the murder was a conspiracy.
