3 killed in blast in J&K

Three person were killed when an explosion was reported while shifting of blasting material from a construction site in Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur district on Sunday.

The explosion occurred when an infrastructure company, which had completed its work under PMGSY scheme at Ladda in Pancheri belt was shifting its material, including blasting material to other places, a police officer said in Udhampur.

During the shifting process, an explosion took place around 8:45 a.m. in which one person died on the spot and two others got injured, he said.

Both succumbed to their injuries while on way to the hospital, he added.
