May 05, 2013 02:24 am | Updated 02:24 am IST - Mumbai:

The alleged key handler of Mumbai’s 26/11 terror attacks, Zabiuddin Ansari alias Abu Jundal has retracted from his earlier confession he had given regarding his role in the terror attack.

In a letter submitted to the special judge U.B. Hejib on Saturday, Jundal said he had never given any confession or statement to any police officer or magistrate. “Papers signed by me were either written or blank papers and were taken under duress and I retract the same,” he wrote in the letter.

He further retracted from any confession or statement that was presented before the courts as it is not voluntary.
