21.45 p.c. in first 4 hours of polling in Jharkhand

An estimated 21.45 per cent voters exercised their franchise in first four hours of polling in 11 seats of Jharkhand.

Election Commission sources said here peaceful polling is on in Hazaribagh, Dhanwar, Bagodar, Jamua, Bermo, Bokaro, Chandankiari, Shikaripara, Dumka, Jama and Jarmundi constituencies.

Altogether 237 candidates, including 115 Independents, are in the fray in the third phase of elections with Bokaro having the maximum of 45 aspirants and Dhanwar having the minimum of ten.
