Massive effortIn a mammoth effort as part of the special summary revision, the commission sent over 26 lakh letters, along with enrolment forms, to all those whose names had been deleted in Mumbai, Thane and Pune.
A statement said 4.5 lakh Speed Post letters were delivered and the rest were returned as the addresses were incorrect or the addressees had shifted residence. The final roll is up on the websites of the Chief Electoral Officers and the Returning Officers.
