A 34-year-old woman along with her 23-year-old friend were held captive in a farm house and gang-raped by five persons in Sukait area of Kota district, police said on Monday.
Police have lodged a case of gang-rape against the five accused but none of them has been arrested so far.
Sukait police station SHO Mahendra Maru said two women from Jaipur city on Saturday night registered a complaint of gang-rape against Rajendra Singh Sisodiya, ex-deputy pradhan of Kherabad panchyat samiti, Rodu Singh Sisodiya, Shiv Dhakad and two others.
The victims stated in the complaint that they had got off the train from Jaipur at Ramgangmandi railway station on Friday night on their way to their relative’s home in nearby Khumbkot village.
Offered liftWhile they were looking for a taxi outside the station, Rajendra Sisodiya, who was familiar to the women, offered them lift and took them to his farm house in Sukait area and locked them in one of the rooms, he said.
The victims said Rajendra Sisodiya then called four others persons, two of whom were identified as Shiv Dhakad and Rodu Singh Sisodiya, and the five raped the two women throughout the day on Saturday and held them captive, the SHO said.
