A 16-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a youth in Jharkhand’s Palamau district and the police have launched a hunt to arrest him.
The police said the standard nine student of Ranadih village was allegedly raped by the youth, a resident of the same village on Thursday after taking her to his home under the pretext of securing her help to clean it.
The youth had later threatened her not to divulge the incident to anyone.
The girl, however, informed her parents and a police complaint was lodged by them._PTI
