13 killed in Himachal bus accident

At least 13 tourists from Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh were killed when the bus they were travelling in veered off the road and fell into a 250-feet deep gorge near Dadahu in Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh on Monday evening.

The bus with 55 passengers was on way from Renuka, a pilgrimage centre, to Paunta Sahib. Police said 23 passengers were injured seriously, five of whom have been sent to the Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences hospital in Chandigarh.
