At least 125 students of two government schools in Uttar Pradesh were taken ill after consuming mid-day meals on Wednesday. While 100 students of a primary school were sick after eating kheer (a sweet dish) served to them in Badaun district, 25 children of a government school in Baghaula area of the district vomited after eating kadhi-chawal (yogurt-based curry with rice). Out of the 100, 18 were taken to a primary health centre while the rest were treated in the school. Fifteen children in the second incident are still undergoing treatment.
