At least 12 people were killed in separate rain-related incidents in Uttar Pradesh.
While six persons were killed due to lightning and house collapse in Barabanki, four died in similar incidents in Lucknow on Friday. Two rain-related deaths were reported from Sitapur, officials said on Saturday.
While Allahabad received 66.8 mm rain, Varanasi received 43.3 mm rains till last evening, MET department said.
Heavy rainfall has disrupted traffic movement in many parts of the State.
