The Crime Branch of Mumbai police on Monday arrested Joseph Paulson, an alleged aide gangster Chhota Rajan, in connection with the murder of senior journalist J. Dey.
“He provided logistical support. His is the 10th arrest in the case,” Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Himanshu Roy told The Hindu .
Paulson, who is believed to be looking after the gangster's finances here, has a case against him.
He was arrested in 2010 for criminal intimidation and extortion. He had organised a Christmas Eve party two years ago, which was attended by another Rajan aide D.K. Rao. Five police personnel were suspended for attending this party.
Paulson will be produced in court on Tuesday.
