Omar Abdullah greets people on Janmashtami

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and his deputy Tara Chand have extended greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of Janmashtami.

In his message, Mr. Omar said the occasion would be harbinger of peace, progress and prosperity and hoped that it would also strengthen the bond of amity and communal harmony among people of the state.

Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand also extended greetings to the people of the state on the eve of Janamashtami.
