Activist Arvind Kejriwal on Monday attacked BJP leader Shanta Kumar for asking them to include Priyanka Vadra’s property in their fight on DLF-Robert Vadra issue, saying the party-led Himachal Pradesh government has the details and it should make the details public.
Mr. Kumar wrote the letter on Sunday, two days after Mr. Kejriwal and Prashant Bhushan alleged that Mr. Vadra has business links with DLF and the realty major was benefited by this.
In the letter, the former Himachal Chief Minister commended Mr. Kejriwal for the fight against corruption and said, “Priyanka Vadra’s family has a property in Shimla. I don’t have full information about this but it has a value of crores of rupees. You should add this to your list. The whole country is with you in your fight.”
In its reaction to the letter, the Kejriwal-led India Against Corruption said in a statement that BJP is ruling the state and it is easy for Kumar to find out the truth about whether Priyanka owns property in the state or not.
“Shanta Kumar is saying he does not have information. We don’t understand this. He can find this out very fast as his party is in power. We appeal to Shanta Kumar and Chief Minister P K Dhumal that they tell the public whether Priyanka has any property in Shimla as is alleged.
“We also know that no outsiders can buy property in Himachal without the state government’s permission. If this is true, when was Priyanka Vadra given permission to buy property in the state and which government gave it?” the statement questioned.
On Mr. Kumar’s remarks that a handful of people are looting wealth, it said, “we want to bring their attention to the fact that BJP is also involved in this loot as any other party is. The same story is coming out in other states also where BJP is in power.”
Mr. Kejriwal later tweeted, “DLF granted favours to Robert Vadra. What favours did Haryana Govt grant DLF? How is DLF reply a bunch of lies? Will speak tomorrow at 5pm,” he said.

Mr.Raja Manickam is right. It seems Kejriwal is acting like a typical Indian media, which sensationalise issues out of context. The land grabbing episode goes back to Jayalalitha's TANSI's case, Yeddy's family fortunes in real estate dealings and infamous Reddy brothers, who have nexus with Sushma Swaraj.
Congress party is sure doomed for a humiliating exit from all the in future. But BJP is equally corrupt and dynasty rule does exists there. Yeddy's family is much in politics, Modi wants to rule forever, Advani still yearns for PM ship etc.. India needs an alternative political force to Congress and BJP.
Mr.Kejriwal should focus more on the corruption in government undertakings such as Air India, Airports Authority of India, NHAI. These undertakings run on the public funds which are precious and hard earned.The public servants of these undertakings have amassed wealth to unimaginable levels illegally. If Vadra is getting rich, it has to do nothing with public funds and who bothers.
Mr. Kejriwal said he will come up with specific documents on Monday; he did not
live up to it. Now he wants Mr. Vadra to respond. In our justice system, you are
innocent until proven guilty. Mr. Kejriwal picks a high profile target so he can show
his relevance. He should be spending more time, trying to fix corruption for the
ordinary man who cannot get anything done in the government offices of the state
or centre. He should focus on corruption at the lower level instead of trying to get
popularity by attacking central ministers or Gandhi family. It makes sensational
news but how is Vadra going to jail going to help an ordinary citizen getting a
birth certificate without paying a bribe.
The more we learn about "LOOT"the more we frustrate.

There must be an investigation against "DLF" to check if they got any favors from the govt's of Haryana, Delhi and if any from centre.
"DLF" is publicly traded company not a "CHARITY" which will give out interest free loans, especially to Sonia's "SON IN LAW".
We "the Indians" must understand that all high powered politicains and their "RELATIVES" must face the scrutiny from everywhere. They are the one who must show the highest morals and ethics to rule the country.
Priyanka and Robert has to come clean in their business dealings as they are NOT AN ORDINARY people, if they claim to be ordinary, i would also like to get an interest free loan as well from DLF.
Indians, please don't be so naive. Stand up and demand answers. Investigative wing of media must come into action to find the truth. Ivolved parties are not going to tell you the truth at their own. WE, the people of INDIA deserves to know the "TRUTH".
