Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Wednesday refused to comment on the allegations against BJP president Nitin Gadkari, saying “it is the BJP’s internal matter”.

However, some reliable sources said a section of the RSS brass, including Bhayyaji Joshi and Suresh Soni, are not very happy with the controversies surrounding the BJP president. The issue will come up for discussion at a RSS meet in Chennai next month. The RSS has asked Mr. Gadkari to come clean on the allegations by end of this month.

Meanwhile, Mr. Gadkari avoided the media in Nagpur. He had come to attend the ‘Vijayadashami Utsav’ of the RSS on the Reshimbagh ground

Mr. Gadkari had openly defended himself by giving interviews to TV channels after India Against Corruption member Arvind Kejriwal accused him of grabbing farmers’ land in Vidarbha.
