With reference to the reports published in The Hindu of October 11 on the CBI's searches of the home and office premises of Ms Suneeta Reddy on October 10, the company spokesperson of Sindya Securities has clarified that the searches in Chennai involving the 26 per cent equity investor in Aircel were a routine procedure, with the CBI carrying out its diligence. The investment was in compliance with RBI and FIBP. No search was conducted in Hyderabad as Ms Suneeta Reddy has no residence or separate business there. Nor does Value Labs have any connection with her or Sindya Securities. Finally, there is no connection at all between this matter and Apollo Hospitals.
