According to the passenger manifest available with The Hindu at least nine passengers did not board the Air India Express Boeing 737-800 flight from Dubai which overshot a runway at the Mangalore airport, and burst into flames, killing at least 154 persons.
Those passengers who where listed as 'No Show' are Merwyn D’ Souza, Vasantha Shetty, Thresiamma Philip, Mohamed Ashfaq, Husna Farheen, Sanjeeva BabannaHegde, Louiscarlo Vincent Geraro, Steven Rego, and Kunhikannan Chandu.
