NIA to probe attack: Shinde

The National Investigation Agency will probe the Maoist attack on Congress leaders in Chhattisgarh after the Centre received the go-ahead from Chief Minister Raman Singh.

“I have spoken to Raman Singh and he has agreed for a probe by the NIA,” Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde told PTI on Sunday on the phone from New York. He added that he had asked Home Secretary R.K. Singh to proceed accordingly.
