The National Investigation Agency has arrested four more JamaatulMujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) men in connection with the Bardhaman blast case.

They have been identified as Dalim Sheikh, Motiur Rehman, Habibur Rehman Sheikh and Gyasuddin. The agency had launched a hunt for Dalim Sheikh, after it located four houses allegedly built by the outfit members, including him, on government land in Muluk Village of Birbhum in West Bengal.

The NIA probe revealed that Habibur Rehman Sheikh, who had also stayed with one of the main JMB accused, Kausar, was also involved in the conspiracy to configure improvised explosive devices for use in terror activities. He carried a bounty of Rs. 5 lakh on his head.

Two suspected terrorists of the JMB were killed in the blast at Khagragarh in West Bengal’s Bardhaman town on October 2, 2014.
