While over one lakh members of the community converged in Gandhinagar, thousands took part in the protest march in Surat. The movie is scheduled to release on December 1.

U.S. President Donald Trump said on a visit to Vietnam on Sunday he was prepared to mediate between claimants to the South China Sea, where five countries contest China's sweeping claims to the busy waterway. “If I can help mediate or arbitrate, please let me know,” Mr. Trump said in comments at the start of a meeting in Hanoi with Vietnam's President, Tran Dai Quang.

Emirates, the Middle East’s largest air carrier, has unveiled new, state-of-the-art, first class private suites. In an industry first, passenger suites in the middle aisle without windows will be fitted with “virtual windows” relaying the sky outside via fiber optic cameras on the plane. There’s also a video call feature in the suites that connects passengers to the cabin crew, as well as temperature control and various mood lighting settings. The private suites will be available on the airline’s Boeing 777.
Union Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister Prakash Javadekar on Sunday said the first draft of the new National Education Policy will come out by December end. The policy is being prepared by a nine-member panel headed by former Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Chairman K. Kasturirangan. “They have said that we can have the first draft of the policy by December end.... It will be implemented as soon as possible after it has been debated (in Parliament),” Mr. Javadekar said during a press conference.
