February 02, 2015 02:15 am | Updated November 16, 2021 06:13 pm IST - New Delhi:

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah has denied the reports in a section of the media that former Union Minister Jayanthi Natarajan had met him ahead of her decision to quit the Congress.

“I have never had any talk with Jayanthiji either on phone or in person,” Mr. Shah said. Asked whether the BJP would like to admit her, Mr. Shah said: “Let the proposal come. There is no such proposal. Why should I comment?”
