NEW DELHI The National Commission for Women (NCW) and the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights have sought immediate reports from the Goa administration on the alleged rape of a nine-year-old Russian girl at Arambol beach in north Goa.

NCW chairperson Girija Vyas has asked the government to send her a report on the action taken by it on the report and also advised the State to improve security on the beaches.

The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights has written to the Director General of Police seeking a report with details of the incident as soon as possible.

The latest incident comes after last month’s rape of a 25-year-old Russian girl allegedly by a local politician.
