Prime Minister Narendra Modi and union Health Minister J.P. Nadda have wished a speedy recovery to Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, who is down with high fever, Health Ministry sources said in New Ddelhi on Monday.

“Got to know that Sh. Rahul Gandhi is not well from Honourable PM who was quite concerned about his health. In view of the concerns of the prime minister, I enquired about his health and wished a speedy recovery for him,” Mr. Nadda tweeted.

The Congress had last week announced cancellation of Mr. Gandhi’s election rallies in Puducherry, Tamil Nadu and Kerala, saying he was down with high fever.

Mr. Gandhi is reportedly still unwell and the doctors attending on him have advised him to take rest, sources said.
