Narayanasamy welcomes formation of panel

Union Minister of State for Prime Minister's Office V. Narayanasamy on Friday welcomed the State government's panel for Kudankulam project.

Talking to reporters at the Chennai airport, Mr. Narayanasamy said already the Union Ministry on the instructions of the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh formed a 15-member team, who submitted a 77-page report to the Centre and the State government.

Similarly, the panel from the State would interact with locals and officials at the project and submit its report at the earliest to the State which would help in early commissioning of the power project, he said.
