Muslim outfits asked to do ‘soul-searching’

Hold them responsible for radicalisation of youth

February 24, 2015 03:00 am | Updated April 02, 2016 07:05 am IST - MUMBAI:

In reply to questions put forward to it by a Muslim organisation last week, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has urged Muslim outfits and clerics to do soul-searching before pointing a finger at others.

“Before questioning any other organisation, society or group, do some introspection,” an article published in the latest edition of the RSS mouthpiece, Organiser , suggests to Muslim outfits and clerics.

10 questions

In response to the six questions by the Muslim organisation, the Organiser has given a list of 10 questions directed at Muslims. Holding Muslim organisations and clerics responsible for misleading common Muslims to engage in confrontation with Hindus, the article contends that they “need to be questioned for nurturing the anti-majority, anti-humanity feelings among the Muslim youth and radicalising them.”

The article comes as a rejoinder to six questions submitted to senior RSS functionary Indresh Kumar by a delegation of Muslim clerics led by Sunni Ulema Council general secretary Haji Mohammed Salees.
