Modi riding piggyback on the corrupt: Kejriwal

Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday accused BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi of joining hands with murderers and corrupt leaders for the sake of power.

“People like Yeddyurappa and Amit Shah are with Mr. Modi. It seems the corrupt and goons and perpetrators of communal riots are extending support to him,” Mr. Kejriwal said at a party rally in Mumbai.

He alleged that Mukesh Ambani, chairman of Reliance Industries, was funding the campaign of the Congress and the BJP. “It does not matter to Mr. Ambani as to who comes to power as both are working for him.”

“I asked Mr. Modi about the helicopters in which he travels. How did a tea seller buy a helicopter? But he is yet to reply to my question,” Mr. Kejriwal claimed.

Clarifying reports on conflict between him and AAP leader Kumar Vishwas, he said, “We are a family and we can solve matters internally.”

“Media shows such news, but is scared of exposing Mr. Modi’s real Gujarat. The media is completely sold out to him.”

Mr. Kejriwal said the AAP supported reservation. He claimed that the AAP would win more than 100 seats.
