Madhya Pradesh has refuted reports that it was considering to include a life sketch of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in school curriculum.

School Education Minister Paras Chandra Jain on Friday said that the Government had not even considered the issue, let alone take a decision, to include a life sketch of Mr. Modi in the school syllabus.

The statement came after Mr. Modi himself reacting to reports that Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh Governments were planning to include a chapter on him in their school books urged that no such move be made.

In another development, the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission has chalked out a plan to make its selection process fool proof by introducing a system of automation. The move comes in the wake of the still unfolding saga of illegalities in the conduct of the State's Professional Examination Board.

In a presentation made to the Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the Commission said that by January next year it would conduct its examinations online. At the examination centres, candidates would be provided with computers with net connectivity and the questions would be posed online and the answered will also have to be typed out on the computers.

Speaking to The Hindu, a senior official said that at the end of the examination itself, the candidates would be able to know how many of their answers were right and how many wrong. The examination centres would be fitted closed circuit television sets and other gadgets to prevent any malpractice. Steps are also being taken to ensure that there was no possibility of any leakage of question papers.
