February 06, 2016 10:16 pm | Updated 10:16 pm IST - VISAKHAPATNAM:

The rich aroma of the organic Araku Coffee (Araku Valley is a hill station in A.P.) bowled over Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who not only relished it but finished his cuppa to the last drop.

Mr. Modi, who visited the Maritime Exhibition at the IFR Village here on Saturday, was given a cup of GCC Araku by A.P. Tribal Welfare Minister Ravela Kishore Babu when the Prime Minister sat down for a discussion with Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar and Minister of State Rajiv Pratap Rudy at the lounge in the MAREX, according to sources.

Mr. Naidu, who was impressed by the quality of the Araku Coffee being marketed by the Girijan Cooperative Corporation Limited, had asked the company to set up a vend at the Martime Exhibition.
