Minor tremor hits Kutch district

A minor tremor measuring 3.2 on Richter Scale was recorded in Kutch district on Monday, district officials said.

However, the tremor caused no damage to life and property, they said.

The epicentre of the tremor is believed to be near Bhachau town of the district, officials said adding that region has been experiencing such minor tremors time and again post 2001 earthquake.

“This is a very minor tremor and though people might have felt it, there are no reports of any damage from any parts of the district,” District officials said.
