Media for Mental Health Awards

The Schizophrenia Research Foundation (SCARF) and the Press Institute of India (PII) have announced the second edition of the Media for Mental Health Awards for print journalists. Any story on mental health published in any newspaper during 2013 can be sent to SCARF with an English translation. A new category for mental health professionals has also been announced this year. Winners will be informed by SCARF in February 2014. The following prizes will be awarded: three awards of Rs.10,000, Rs. 6,000 and Rs. 4,000 for English print journalists, and three similar awards for print journalists of other languages.
