Armed maoists killed three villagers by chopping off their heads in Vimbandh forest area of Bihar’s Munger district early on Tuesday, the police said.
The Maoists had a couple of days ago kidnapped the ’Sarpanch’ of Murade Sanjay Paswan, two villagers Pramod Paswan and Sourav Das, the sources said.
Their bodies were recovered by police from near Rameshwar ‘kund’ inside the Bhimband forest, the sources said.
A combing operation has been launched to flush out the ultras.
